SUMMER CAMP

COMPETITIVE FOOTBALL LEAGUE
Welcome to Fishers Finest, our mission is to impart the fundamental principles of flag football within the Wallingford Swarthmore School District. While we acknowledge the absence of a tackle program in the district, many children are eager to engage in football. Therefore, why do they have to leave the district to participate in competitive flag football?
Fisher Finest is establishing a competitive flag football league in Haven. They will participate in practices and games on Sundays, with scoring and wins being important factors. While teamwork is a valuable skill, we will save that for another time.
This year, girls flag football will be introduced as a high school sport, giving our children the opportunity to play flag football, whether they prefer tackle or flag football, before they reach high school.

FREE FLAG FOOTBALL CAMP
Now, let’s get to the main reason you’re here. We’re thrilled to announce a FREE flag football camp for rising 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th graders. The camp will take place from Monday, July 14th, to Friday, July 18th, from 9 am to 1 pm each day.
At this camp, the boys and girls will learn essential flag football skills and drills. We’ve also included an interactive 4-hour workshop where they can participate in games and win prizes while gaining valuable knowledge about the game of flag football.
By the end of the week, each child will be placed on a team and have the chance to compete in a tournament for a trophy.
SIGN UP TODAY
The camp has a capacity of 150 kids and will fill up quickly. Please submit your child’s name, age, and school information.
To ensure a positive and safe environment for all attendees, we will strictly enforce a one-strike policy for any disruptive or out-of-control behavior. If a child violates this policy, they will not be permitted to return to the rest of the week.
Dress your child appropriately for the weather in shorts, a T-shirt, and sneakers only. We must preserve the field for next season’s soccer season, so cleats are strictly prohibited. Children should bring a water bottle and a snack for break time. We will provide additional water on-site. More details will be shared as we approach camp week.
